Use the BetCheck App as your responsible gambling safety check.
This tool allows you to compare your gambling habits with the “typical gambler”, using items such as time and money spent on your favourite game. You can also find out if you are gambling at a low, moderate or high risk level.
How it works: Enter the type of game, frequency of play, your bet amount, and a little about yourself to view where you stand in comparison to the “typical gambler”. Next, answer 9 easy questions to find out your personal risk level.
Note: These questions are based on a scientific study done in Ontario, Canada. BetCheck is based on numbers – not judgements.
The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is an independent, non-profit organization committed to problem gambling prevention. RGC designs and delivers highly effective awareness programs. Through the RGC Centre for the Advancement of Best Practices, the Council also promotes the identification and adoption of best practices in problem gambling prevention.
